Notice anything different around here?
Welcome to the new Jolly Tomato, which I hope is easier to read, nicer to look at, and generally more fun to visit. The redesign was completed with the patient and thoughtful guidance of Andrew of Eating Rules and Blog Tutor, and Laura of Family Spice.
If you’ve ever met Andrew, you’ve probably thought, “What a cool, nice guy.” And underneath that cool, nice exterior, he’s STILL cool and nice…but he’s also a blog tech whiz and more specifically a WordPress guru. Andrew did all sorts of wonderful tech-y stuff to make the blog run more smoothly, back up safely, and generally look better. And he’s been incredibly helpful and patient with my tech-challenged questions throughout the entire process. For anyone who needs help with blog set-up or redesign, I cannot recommend him highly enough. You can reach him through his Blog Tutor site.
If you’ve ever seen Family Spice, you know that Laura is incredibly talented with all of the gorgeous food, recipes, and photos she posts on her site regularly. She also has a great design sense and impeccable taste when it comes to graphics and color schemes. Laura graciously helped with the new color palette and fonts – and she designed the new logo (pretty cool, eh?). If you need any sort of graphic design help, Laura is your go-to person. Love the new look! It’s definitely much easier to read especially on an iPhone. And as a graphic designer myself, I really love the new font face. Bravo on the re-design!
